A state-of-the-art animal hospital progressing just north of Toronto in King City. Poised to be home to the country’s most advanced animal clinic. Cumulus is working with Dog Tales to develop a veterinary facility that will be a destination across the province and beyond.

The Ottawa Hospital Offload Medicine Transition Unit was featured in the 2021 Healthcare Design Showcase. The four season Sprung structure opened last December to help alleviate capacity challenges at the Civic Campus and improve the quality of care available to patients in the Ottawa-Carleton region.

Cumulus Architects will be leading the revitalization of the iconic Toronto Courthouse on University Avenue for Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of the Attorney General. Modernizing this iconic building’s infrastructure while conserving the it’s architectural legacy are parallel project priorities.

This is the first phase in the expansion the Emergency Department rapid assessment services into the new Michael Lawrence Turk Rapid Assessment Centre currently under construction. Both projects are helping pave the way to reduced wait times and an improved patient experience.

Completed last April, the Pandemic Response Unit (PRU) at Joseph Brant Hospital added capacity for COVID-19 care. Intense pressures on hospitals providing COVID care across the region has prompted activation of the PRU which is now set up to support four hospitals across the GTHA.
