Renovated Brick and Beam Workspace

We are currently working with Kevric to renovate and expand a film studio complex at 65 Heward. Cumulus is leading renovations of a lofted office space, taking the space back to base to highlight the original brick and beam construction and incorporate bright and airy windows to maximize daylight exposure while improving access and leaseable space.

Architectural Co-op Placements

Architectural Co-op Placements

We have openings for co-op placements. Our students are curious lateral thinkers, detail oriented, adaptable to changing deadlines / priorities and work well collaboratively. We expect our team to think critically and contribute to the design process and most importantly be interested in creative problem solving. Placements available for 4 and 8 months.

Cumulus is part of the 2019 Toronto of the Future exhibition taking place at Metro Hall. This week long showcase focuses on what Toronto will look like in the coming decades - showing off models and concept renderings. Along with office and residential spaces, the show also offers glimpses into proposed civic buildings, infrastructure projects and transportation hubs. Be sure to check out this free event running June 25-July 1st.

Setting the Stage for Mental Health Research

Cumulus is excited to announce the opening of the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics at CAMH, where big data, artificial intelligence and brain modeling are being used to to change our understanding of mental illness. The light filled offices have been designed to offer a mix of formal, informal, private, and public spaces to complement open workstation clusters and facilitate creative working relationships.
