Cumulus transformed a 2,000 sq. ft. downtown Toronto alleyway into an intimate dining terrace, creating a modern culinary escape in the heart of the financial district. The revitalized space features alfresco dining, lush landscaping, and seamless indoor-outdoor connectivity through large operable glass panels and stylish lighting.
A striking Richmond Street entrance boasts 14-foot gates clad in hand-glazed terracotta tiles, with cascading greenery from integrated planters.
Working with Dream Office REIT, this project reimagines an underutilized alleyway, embracing adaptive reuse in restoring vitality to an urban space with heritage value—enhancing both the district’s character and prestige.
