Global healthcare systems are trending away from traditional service delivery models resulting in the need to address infrastructure renewal as a major enabler of patient-centred care. Drivers of change include the cost burden of care and ongoing maintenance and replacement of aging infrastructure. The imperative to future-proof health systems given current and projected patient volumes have resulted in Cumulus’ engagement by major healthcare providers in Toronto, Winnipeg and Saskatoon to provide business case strategies to ensure strategic investment in campus redevelopment.
Cumulus is currently working with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority to provide Strategic Development Planning for 9 hospitals. This work is being completed in collaboration with Winnipeg based ft3. Eight hospitals are located in Winnipeg and one in Churchill.
Cumulus has also been retained by Shared Health to deliver Master Development Planning Services for Brandon and Bethesda Regional Health Centres.
