Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics

Using big data, AI and brain modeling to advance our understanding of mental health.

The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) supports collaborative dry bench research by combining machine learning, data science and neuroscience to better understand mental health disorders. Situated within Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and a global hub of research centers, the Krembil Centre fosters seamless integration with clinicians and data, driving innovation at the intersection of research and care.

The retrofitted space is intentionally designed to spark creative collisions among a global research team. The Centre is designed to spark dialogue, drive convergence, and support dynamic working relationships. The result is a bright, efficient, and open research environment, with a mix of formal, informal, private, and public spaces that complement open workstation clusters and encourage creativity.
